Embed Xbox Live Gamercard - Myspace fix

After racking up hours of gaming, unlocking achievements and boosting your gamer score you'll probably be proud of your gamer profile.

Here is a way to let you embed your gamercard into your blog, myspace, etc...

IMPORTANT: note myspace does not support iframes, so use the second code.

eg. see my gamercard featured in my sidebar.

the code to paste in is:

<iframe src="http://gamercard.xbox.com/GAMERTAG.card" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" height="140" width="204">GAMERTAG</iframe>

There's two points in the code where you need to put in your Gamertag ID to replace the word 'GAMERTAG'. Also if you have any spaces in your gamertag then they need filling, use '%20' instead of a space, so mine is Hilikus%20LnF

From this people will be able to see the latest games you've been playing, your gamerscore and rating, and if they click the card it'll take them to the xbox website where they can log in and compare achievements with you.

It's also a good way of letting your friends know you play online and them adding you as a friend.

MySpace Update: Unfortunately MySpace have banned the use of iframes, and so the above embed code doesn't work.

But don't worry, if iframes are not supported on the site your using, simply use this new code.

<embed src=http://card.mygamercard.net/GAMERTAG.swf classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="198" height="135">
</embed>

Again replacing the word 'GAMERTAG' with your gamer id, this time if you have any spaces in your id use a + symbol so mine is 'hilikus+lnf.swf'
